Group Bookings For Lunch, Showers & Private Parties


Booking a party is easy.

Menu Options 

2 adult menu options are available and one for children under 12

Group bookings of 13 - 25 will hire out the entire main tearoom for a $75 room fee payable at time of booking and is non refundable.

Option 1. $25 Lady's Lunch:

  • A selection of seasonal finger sandwiches & an option of soup or potato chips as a side

  • Scone of the day served with clotted cream and handmade jam

  • Hot or iced tea 

Option 2. $45 Celebration High Tea

  • Soup of the Day

  • A selection of seasonal finger sandwiches

  • Scone with clotted cream and handmade jam and jelly

  • Selection of handmade British themed seasonal pastries

  • Hot or Iced Tea

  • A glass of something to celebrate (Champagne, mimosa, mock mimosa, wine, beer, cider)

And for younger guests:

$17 Princess & Prince Tea (12 and under)

  • A selection of seasonal finger sandwiches (choose from peanut butter & strawberry jelly, OR honey)

  • Jello

  • Selection of handmade British themed seasonal pastries

  • Orange Juice or Tea

Booking a party is easy. 

You just need to confirm that your preferred dates are available and we’ll reserve your tables. Please feel free to come in and see the space. Call us at Carmel on 317 565 9716

You can then book your group by paying a non refundable $75 room fee, due 30 days out or at time of booking. No deposits will be taken further than 30 days prior to the event, although dates can be reserved.


Groups of up to up to 12 can be booked as a regular tearoom reservation and will be seated across 2 tables of 6

Seating Times 

We have set party seating times: 11 am & 1:45 pm

You will have the space for 2 hours. 

Afternoon slots tend to be requested first and are usually booked 3-4 weeks if not further in advance. Please feel free to contact us to check if your preferred date is available.


Party space tends to be scheduled on a Saturday or Sunday, but we can also accommodate your group in the week as well. Evening or early morning times are also possible by request and a room fee of $150 will apply.

Seating Spaces​

Tables are at 6ft intervals and the maximum of 6 people will be seated at a table. We have a total of 5 tables in the main tearoom seating up to 25 in total. We have a more private table in a separate area for a further 6.

The tearoom in Carmel is a converted historical Colonial home dating back to the 1880's. The property was fully refurbished in 2007 and remodeled in 2014 to create the tearoom, with teapot chandeliers and a British theme. 

There is additional open air seating for up to 35 outside in good weather.  

Group Bookings

Things to note:

Prices quoted exclude relevant taxes and 20% group gratuity (this will automatically be added upon payment). 

We book at your ‘high number’, usually capped at the number of people you invite or expect to attend. We request that you call the Monday prior to your event to confirm numbers, check pricing, and tell us of any dietary restrictions your guests may have. If we have not managed to reach you by phone we will email. Room fees are non refundable.

We can accommodate Gluten Free and Vegetarian diets if we know in advance. If we don’t know until the day, we will always work with your guest to do our best to accommodate their needs, however the food offered may be limited.

Minimums and Room Fees

For groups of 13 or more, a $75 room fee is required to reserve the date and time 30 days prior to your event. The room fee is non-refundable.

After hours events are available, and the following minimums apply:

We require a minimum of 18 in your party to book an after hours event. 

Room fee of $150 for 2 hours applies and is taken 30 days prior to your event and is non-refundable. 

Beer & Wine

Fancy Champagne, Mimosas or a glass of Wine to celebrate your special occasion? Tina’s Traditional is licensed to serve beer and wine.  Make sure you state this requirement when you book.

Celebration Cakes & Party Favors

You can also request party favors or a celebration cake iced to your specification, baked by our craft bakers on site. Celebration cakes start at $60. Favors start at $3/favor.

What we cannot allow

As this venue is a restaurant and bakery, you may NOT bring in your own food, cakes or edible favors.

Please no confetti, glitter or paints on the tables as it takes forever to clean up and gets everywhere.
