Get the inside scoop on how to start a tea room, tea shop or tea business. Business training, coaching & mentorship from a Tea Room Owner...
If you’re anything like me, you had a big dream to open a tea room and wanted to make an impact in the world in some way.
Maybe that sounds like it could be you?
SO LETS TALK...
Let’s talk about what really happens when you decide to start a business.
First, you have no idea where to start. Then you realize you've got ALOT of research to do before you even work out if its the right thing for you.
Then if you do start, you get caught up in the delivery of the service, you need to get the right ingredients in place and the right people and processes. People you can rely on and that’s not always that easy. You work night and day, your freedom is gone and you’re working harder than you ever have (or ever would for anyone else) to get your business, off the ground.
You don't mind working this hard because it doesn't feel like 'work' to you because its your passion. The problem is it DOES look like work to your family and friends who don't see you that much anymore. You kind of get sucked in to the day to day operation and wish you made more revenue so you can afford the help you desperately need.
OK but wait…that’s not always your reality is it? Here’s why.
Its not your fault. There is nothing wrong with you. But I can show you how to turn this around. Because that's exactly what happened to me and I know I'm not alone.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Imagine instead, you have time off with the kids, your partner, taking a vacation and still have a business to come back to. In fact your business is growing and you are starting to see the benefits of the chance you (and your family) took.
Imagine instead that this is your tearoom (or any tea time business for that matter) – buzzing every day with happy chatter, people coming up to you and thanking you for being in their community, thanking you for a very special afternoon and how they will be back with their mom, sisters, ladies group and asking if they can hold an event at your place.
What would that do to your business and your bank balance?
Many people ask me how I have done it. How I built a successful tea room business in just a few short years? The World Tea Expo invited me to speak on how I got started and how I get the visibility I have had for my business. Like how did I end up doing an etiquette class for the Colts Mascot? How did I end up winning the business so I could deliver to the State House afternoon tea. How did I manage to open a second, third and forth location and still get great reviews online.
I’ve been following a formula based out of necessity and developed over time in both the UK and USA and in 2 very different markets.
If you’re anything like me, when you start your business you have no money for advertising, but you know you need clients who keep coming back time and time again in order for you to pay your bills and cover your overheads, and even get in the help you need, so you rely on word of mouth but that just isn’t happening fast enough and your reach isn’t far enough and soon you’ll run out of money and have to borrow just so you can keep afloat. (or worst still give up on your dream)
That's why I set-up Tea Room Secrets to help you avoid the mistakes I made, shorten your journey and get to a place where you finally get your life back.
